Zinconex – LQ
Concentrated liquid descaling agent ( non-corrosive non-fumigant) for removing lime scale and corrosion residues on thermal systems, heat exchangers, cooling circuits, evaporative towers with copper, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, tin, light alloys, galvanized surfaces. ZINCONEX-LQ contains an exhaustion indicator with color change (bright red on active product, yellow-orange on exhausted product).
How to Use:
ZINCONEX-LQ is a concentrated descaling liquid to be diluted with water at the rate of 20 to 30% at the time of use; the recommended contact times in order to obtain a good result on any surface vary from 2 to 4 hours depending on the intensity of the limescale to be removed. Once the descaling is finished, a washing with NEUTRAL neutralizer is recommended in order to eliminate the residual acidity present in the circuit.
Zinconex
Powder descaling agent suitable for thermal and cooling systems with galvanized or aluminum surfaces. Can also be used for: copper, steel, cast iron, stainless steel.
How to Use:
Prepare the solution separately and follow the label instructions. Once the operation has been carried out, neutralize acidity by using NEUTRAL product.
Neutral
The product neutralizes residual acidity present in the descaling processes of thermal systems, heat exchangers, radiators, etc.
How to Use:
Dilute NEUTRAL at a rate of 2 to 10 % to the total circulating liquid, depending on the residual acidity. Refer to the pH indicator map enclosed in the package for the amount. The pH should be adjusted so that the map retains its original color.
Disinex
Acid-based descaling agent for removing lime scale from pipes and closed circulation systems of boilers and heat exchangers. In particular steel, copper, cast iron. For aluminum and galvanized surfaces, ZINCONEX Series products are recommended.
How to Use:
Dilute DISINEX only in acid-resistant containers (PVC or polyethylene) at the rate of 10 to 20 % to the total liquid, taking care to add water to DISINEX and not vice versa. The initial pink tint changes to orange-yellow when the acid has lost its effectiveness. By adding more acid, if the color remains persistent pink the descaling process has occurred completely. Further certainty is obtained by observing the cessation of development of carbon dioxide bubbles. Because of the development of gas, it is necessary to operate with the pump vents open. Then do a flush with NEUTRAL neutralizing product.
